Participating Organizations
Made in the Shade is an event put on by seven participating organizations. Having a joint event helps to spread the costs associated with organizing the event; meaning that more of the money raised goes towards supporting the agencies' missions. Below is a brief description of each of the agencies as well as resources for more information.
Community Involvement Programs (CIP) provides resources to help individuals with disabilities plan their lives and careers. Supported housing services help people find appropriate living arrangements to fit their needs and desires. CIP also helps people with career planning, training and placement, counseling, transportation and nursing care. CIP works in more than 43 sites throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
